Integrating Schedule Risk Analysis with Multi-Skilled Resource Scheduling to Improve Resource-Constrained Project Scheduling Problems

Construction projects are planned in a complex and dynamic environment characterized by high risks uncertainties amidst resource constraints. Assessing construction schedule risk facilitates informed decision-making, especially resource-constrained situation, allows proactive actions to be taken so that project objectives not jeopardized. This study presents stochastic multiskilled scheduling (SMSRS) model for problems (RCSPSP) considering the impact of uncertainty on activity durations. The SMSRS was developed integrating analysis (SRA) (developed MS Excel) with an existing (MSRS) algorithm development feasible realistic schedule. computational experiment carried out three case using proposed revealed average percentage deviation 10.50%, indicating inherent durations core contribution is it: (1) practitioners simple tool assessing associated schedules necessary response can ensure success; (2) provides small-scale businesses affordable evaluating developing
